The City Livery Yacht Club is open to all members, both Liverymen and Freemen, of City of London Livery Companies, Guilds and Companies without Livery, as well as members of The Guild of Freemen.
It was born out of the City Livery Club, although its members do not need to be members of CLC to be members.
A list of Livery Companies appears on the Web site of the City of London Corporation at:

The City Livery Yacht Club is very proud to have been instrumental in promoting the creation of the Trafalgar Egg in support of the RNLI (www.rnli.org.uk). It has continued to contribute to the Appeal for a new lifeboat to be named City of London III, through a joint dinner, which was held at Vintners' Hall on 8 April 2008, when those attending were most generous with their donations, raising more than £60,000 on the night.
