Seventeen members of the City Livery Yacht Club attended the Association of Thames Yacht Clubs (ATYC) Dinner at the Phyllis Court Club, Henley-upon-Thames on a very wet Saturday in March, among whom were the Commodore, Peta Walmisley, Immediate Commodore Michael Slack and Mrs Dorie Lang, Past Commodore (and Flag Officer, Thames Section) Norman and Julie Woolley, Honorary Treasurer Nigel and Barbara Reese, Dennis and Jean Taylor, Keith Graham and Alenoush Ghoudikian. Dancing was to 'Panama' and prizes for the 2007 Rally were presented.

The City Livery Yacht Club Cup was presented to Danesfield Yacht Club by the ATYC Chairman (centre left) for achieving third place in the Team Awards
|
CLYC member Keith Clarke, representing The Windsor Yacht Club, received 3 trophies. Here he is presented with the Lady Lou Cup by Chris Turner, ATYC Chairman
|
Norman Woolley (seen right, with Chris Turner, left) won the Narrow Boat Handling Competition for the eighth time. It is a very spendid (and heavy) trophy in the shape of a narrow boat. He hopes there will be a bit more competition in future!

The dancing was energetic and continued until midnight. Seen above are Dennis Taylor and Barbara Reese on the dance floor. Commodore Peta Walmisley is seen discussing CLYC matters with Keith Graham
The CLYC members thoroughly enjoyed the evening, with even Dorie Lang (left, in the picture left, with Nigel and Barbara Reese and Jean Taylor) venturing onto the dance floor, on crutches with a broken ankle newly out of plaster
