Michael Wilkey as Vice Commodore (Sailing) is in discussions with the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club regarding Race Officers for the 2010 Regatta. It was agreed that only one handicapped race will be run.
Norman Wollley presented his report on the Thames Section, including his intention to hand over the baton after twelve years. Michael Slack proposed a vote of thanks to Norman for his exemplary service.

Clifford Champion reported on the efforts of the Club to support the RNLI London branch, where over £1million had been raised for 'City of London III', a new Tamar class lifeboat for Sennen Cove. A reception for the contributors had been held on HMS President in November. He also reported that the Committee had agreed to support, by encouraging members to help with funds, Lucy Macgregor in her goal of competing in the 2012 Olympics (see also the Commodore's message).
At the conclusion of the AGM, the Commodore presented Robin Leuchars, on behalf of James Crockatt, with the MacLennan Cup for his sailing achievements, as well as his longterm support for the Cowes regatta.
She thanked all members for their support during her term of office, Margaret Campbell at the end of her first year as Secretary and handed over the Commodoreship to Michael Wilkey, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers.
